The new Kardashian Beauty flat contains a 1” wide ceramic plate which is infused with black seed oil that nourishes the hair and provides a glam shine. The plates are 4” long and heat up to your customized heat within 30 seconds. The heat reaches from 360 degrees F to 420 degrees F with color codes to indicate to suggested heat for fine, medium or coarse hair. The iron automatically shuts off after 60 minutes to prevent burns, fires, etc.

First Impressions

I purchased the flat iron from Ulta in the beginning of March about three weeks after the products were introduced. The first thing that really caught me was the packaging. The product is so sleek and beautiful. I travel a lot in the summers and this flat iron is ideal for travel. I was also very impressed because the plates are ceramic as most other Chi brand flat irons. But, unlike those irons, you can decide how high you want the heat to go. Personally, I have very curly hair but it is also very thin and it has been damaged from heating tools and hair bleach. So I really liked that I could take my time and put it on a low heat setting since that option isn’t available on many other higher end tools.
